End-of-week round-up

This week has been a really good one for me. The American south was hit with the worst snow, sleet, and ice storms in almost twenty years, and my family mercifully made it through quite safely. Our home never even lost power! We also got two days off school  ^ _^

So, I was excited to spend my  SwagBucks on an amazon gift card, but then I thought, isn't this exactly what I'm trying to avoid? I am selling my things not only to make money, but to be less tied to material items. It is so easy for your possessions to possess you! The $5 amazon gift card would have required 450  SwagBucks, but instead I saved the 700  SwagBucks necessary for a $5 paypal deposit. It went straight from digital points from searches and surveys to cold, hard, cash in my bank account. Money for next semester's tuition. That's worth more than mere things.

Income
$17 (Tutoring, SwagBucks)
Expenses
$0  (We were snowed in!)

  1. Hi. Thank you for commenting on my blog! I'm just started up my blog even though I've been lurking on PF blogs probably for the past five years of my life. :) I love love love swagbucks. I was thinking of getting the Bettie Crocker cookie book on amazon since I love baking and it would have been free with the swagbucks, but now I think I'm going to put the money into a paypal account. Great idea! Good luck with the blog!
